I'm sad. Almost everything points to ME3 sucking. I want it to be good but I just can't bring myself to realistically expecting it to be.

The only way at this juncture to be able to redeem ME3 in my eyes now is like, there needs to be a Renegade option where Shepard can just like, randomly kill off Vega, Chobot, EDI and the Prothean.

Like, the subplot is there's a traitor somewhere on the Normandy, and the traitor is clearly this one-note crew member who rambles incoherently about how much he adores the Reapers. The Paragon option is "Incarcerate that suspicious dude." The Renegade option is "Fuck that shit, grab a gun and shoot Vega, Chobot, EDI, and the Prothean. Yes. All four of them. Then continue the actual goddamn mission."

S/he seemed like an actually fairly decent science fiction writer with actually fairly decent science fiction-y ideas about an entirely new conceptualization of the future Milky Way galaxy

you all laughed, you all fucking laughed when people said EA getting ahold of Bioware when ME1 launched was going to destroy them.

Well, here we are, two new characters down for blatant nerdfetishism, the game becoming more and more of a gangbang of mass-marketing, and the more they talk about it the more it seems they've stripped "classic bioware" from the game.

don't care how good the reviews are going to be, neither Bioware or EA is going to get my money for this.
