Will ponder these recommendations of the Pixeljunks and the Journey. I checked some reviews for Dead Nation and am less enthusiastic now.

Oh right, PS One classics. I'll just immediately start off with the original Crash Bandicoot and Spyro games if you're inclined toward what was the gold of platformers back in the polygon era. Also Ape Escape is pretty boss if they have that in the store. Nothing else really stands out for me beyond that, since anything else I played on my original Playstation wasn't really worth remembering (no I didn't play MGS, but if I did I doubt I wouldn't be mentioning it).

Persona 3: FES was just released on PSN yesterday. Mighty fine jRPG. I would buy it myself, but a double whammy of Atlus and Sony of Europe means that it will never see light of day in the UK.

You might want to do a bit of research to see if it is possible, BUT if you make a US PSN account with a US address (Google a street in the US) you should be able to download and play anything from the US part of the PSN.

I do know that this used to work because a friend of mine got Vagrant Story off the Euro PSN before it was released in the US PSN, and I have downloaded things from the Japanese PSN myself.

I don't see why this changed, unless the PS2 Classics work differently or they region locked the PS3 with a patch.

If you're looking for a downloadable title I just picked up Scarygirl on steam, and I'm pining the use of a control for this platformer. The mechanics seems solid enough to make a good platform out of it with an interesting art style and story-book-y game, but the controls are plainly made for a controller so using A-S-D-F-R-LSHIFT-SPACE and Arrow Keys for everything is taking some getting used to. But I'm fairly confident I'll have fun with it.

I tried using my address with an American state/Zip and it didn't want to know. I'll try using a full address, although that does seem highly illegal.

I hope the PS2 games aren't region locked, that would suck if they managed to take my money and then leave unable to play.

Also, you get stronger if you get higher levels on the skull-icon-thing. You are totally better at the game if you can reach level DIE(That's really the name, honest!).
