Again, I'm feeling that we're going to be underwhelmed by the difference there.

I'd almost wonder if they'd just go ahead and make PS4 games PS3 compatible, but that would undoubtedly kill their sales (depending on how cheap these PS4s are) and I don't think they'll risk it.

Ha, yeah, as if that'll ever happen. They wouldn't even let us play our old games on the new console, it sure ain't gonna happen in reverse.

They're gona have to do something seriousy impressive to make me upgrade from ps3 with this.

I've never bought a console within the first year of release, so it's been 5 years for me. My ps2 lasted me 7 years, and the ps3 was, according to Sony, supposed to last longer than this.

maybe they meant how long they'd continue to make them? I mean the PS2 only recently stopped being produced. Besides I'm not certain the new gen will replace the current one. People are reluctant to jump into new hardware now.
