It's sad that we live in a world where this can happen when there are many, many dating services, brothels, and dark alleyways which can be easily accessed by anyone.

This bugs me as much or more than human abuse. Granted, value of human life isn't sky high in my books, but a human can tell you what happened, an animal cannot.

In that way, it's more cruel.

I'm sorry, maybe I'm overstepping my bounds, but we hear enough about stuff like this in what are ridiculously called legitimate news sources. Please, let's not discuss it here. There's enough crap floating around currently as is. :\
