hey i've been looking through the comics and i found one interesting
Why did red mage cast the hadoken when he thinks it "too horrible" like in this comic http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=041127 "read the book at the bottom for my reference"

You obviously haven't seen the Black Wizard sprite that Brian is going to use. BW will still have the black face and yellow glowing eyes, but instead of having the long, flowing robe, he will have on a pair of baggy pants, and the rest of the outfit will be blue. For pictures, please refer to the previous episode threads.

Because he apparently couldn't help it. "It had to be made manifest." And he did try to stop it, unsuccessfully. Very unsuccessfully.

It is interesting though. Makes you wonder how ol' Red Mage will react once he realizes what he's done there.

Technically we only ever saw the upper half of the sprite in the comic, I think.

I said it once, and I will say it again, in FF games geomancer's had the baggy pants, and the stupid head ornament. Just like the future BM image, it would make sense, BM controlling the very forces that the earth is made of...
