Ok I know that was bad but I needed an ice breaker for my first post. Anyway greetings to all.

Onto BM's new class. The general rule for Blue magic (as already stated here somewhere) is that it can't be an exsisting Black or White magic spell (i.e a moster only skill) and that you can't learn it from an ally casting it on you.

So RM casting ice on BM is only going to make BM very cold, wet and possibly provoke him to use any new spells/powers Magus unlocked.

Hmm, once magic has been converted to fire, cold or what have you, is it still 'magic' per se? If you're hit by a fireball there's still a good deal of fire about even if you absorb the 'potential for change' at the heart of the spell.

Well at least BM is now really a very a Blue Mage, although not in the magic sense. :p Now about Fighter, maybe is just my demented mind, but sometimes, the whole story seems like is being told by Fighter to his kids in the future, you know, like when Tidus narrates almost all the story in FFX until the point of the camp outside Zanarkand; and we just have seen a glimpse of that. Anyways, he is going to save BM, because he is a helper.

Nah, don't listen to me, to much Min/Max in the last D&D session. I need lunch.

I think Red Mage needs to learn to use his spells more if they can do that...

Anyone else think that Fighter is going to use his, hitherto unseen, Dragon Style Kenshido attack?

And about the new shirts, we better get some Class Changed shirts soon too, or else I'm gonna... cry, like a little baby.

I think that fighter will probably use sword magic a la FFV in the next one, just my guess. I was pretty much thinking for a long time anyway that he would get sword magic and I remember Brian saying that one of them only had 'half' of their class change(or we have only seen half of it). Either that or it was just a joke.

It's funny how eager RM is to freeze BM - didn't even wait for the sentence to end before complying. On that note, I know the whole universe is meant to hurt BM, but c'mon - aren't the LWs being just a little overly cruel right now? Even for them?

I was also going to add that they always talk about lunch when digressing because they never eat (except for WM, she's a fan of pasta), but someone beat me to it.

On Fighter's stance as well, why dos he hold his sword like that? Is it to be cool or was there some difficulty in making the sprite? It looks awfully hard on the wrist to have the sword bent back like that. I mean, one good smack and that puppy's flyin outa his hand. Perhaps it's a lure and is meant to get people to try and smack the sword out of his hand - trickery trickery.

Ooh! New theory. BM somehow plucked the spell from RM's mind (because he was thinking about it) then cast in on himself (because RM was thinking of BM as the target)

...um... probably not true, but that would be IMMENSLY cool
