Doesn't goblin punch turn the punchee into an imp or similar in some of the FFs? I recall wearing a ribbon and getting goblin punched a lot and laughing because it didn't do anything.

As I recall Goblin Punch is a poor physical attack that gets a massive boost where the puncher and punchee are the same level.

You are refferring to imp stab in FF6.

For the record, gobling punch was a non-elemental magical attack that did x10 damage if the user and target were the same level in FF5.

In the first panel with RM, is he crossing his arms? Is that a new sprite?
EDIT: Upon reexamination, it looks like he's smacking the fist of his left hand, into the open palm of his right. And that seems to be a bit more Red Magery, than the other one.

The one of BM on the ground must be one at any rate.

And, of course, classic humor of "man gets hurt in groin". But in the very funny context of 8-Bit Theatre.

Ooh, that's got to hurt...a lot. Hard to imagine for me how much it hurts for Black Mage, but judging by his expression, he's either terribly pissed, under total agony, or both.
