First off, you have just lost a LOT of respect from me for just mentioning Dub Piece. 4kids cut a whole arc from it! It was an abomination. 4kids dropping it was the best thing that could have happened to it. Now the healing can begin!

sorry Dwarfburg citizen, but that was the first time i had seen the show. How was i supposed to know that they had cut a story arc from it? What story arc was dropped anyways?

If by healing you mean making it worse. Cutting entire arcs out of One Piece is, honestly, the best thing you could do for it. Honestly cutting entire characters would be better... then the art style... then all the original writing. Really the BEST thing you could do for One Piece is burn it completely and then rebuild it from scratch with the same basic premise but less retarded.

And yes, I've seen a good amount of the undubbed, and read about ten to fifteen books of the manga. It's unabashedly terrible.

And, I mean, especially for someone into the stuff that Kuebler listed. Comedy and action together does not mean a retard made out of rubber, really. That would be like, dumb and dumber as pirates with bad art, terrible writing, and ridiculous action.

Plus: DNAngel is not like One Piece. At all.

Be careful of Excel Saga man, It cna harm your mind in ireversible ways. I also recomend Peacemaker, as I ma the only onw out there who has seen it, I think, ther arent many of us.

You aren't the only one to see it, just one of the few to actually not regard it with a monstrous 'meh'. Excel is good though, also Scrapped Princess, Samurai 7, Samurai Champloo, Karas, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Outlaw Star and Tenjou Tenge.

Ah! Megami-sama (All - Especially Season 1 and Movie)

I guarantee there's something there you haven't seen. And all good shows with a mixture of good characters, comedy, some drama and action.

Also Krylo, no matter how bad the original show is, its NEVER a good idea to edit it. If the original show sucks, then you shouldn't be trying to edit it to make it 'better'. Stuff should just be shown in its original way so there's no argument which is the better 'version' and 5 different people all seeing 1 character with 5 different back stories, 4 of them altered because of each dubbing/subbing groups whims. But this WILL lead to a dubbing debate so my opinion stops there.

And reguardless, you speak of howbad the original is and how an edit could easily be an improvement and STILL 4kids made it worse. MUCH worse. That's saying something.

Elfen Lied is a nice short series. Very bloody, + some nudity, but enjoyable plot.
