Well hello there. Forum name is Phi, real name is TOP SECRET. 25 years old as of this post, and I'm a Leo for you astrology buffs (of which I am one of).

I'm a big 'old-school' type gamer, more because I feel that innovation has taken a backseat these days rather than my inability to afford everything new. My preferences lie in RPGs (der), old-school side scrollers, simulations, and MMORPGs (though I have only found two I actually like, and both are 'free'). On a Final Fantasy note, I have officially (meaning in my own convoluted brain) stricken FFVIII from the series and have replaced it with FFT, because it is superior and gunblades are dumb.

My other hobbies include pool, drinking copious amounts of coffee, smoking too many cigarettes, playing guitar (though I'm retired from bands), and writing short stories (a hobby I have recently picked up).

I have now babbled to my heart's content, and I will bother you no further.

I'm origionally from Louisiana but am currently in Phoenix Az. where i have recently graduated from DeVry University with a degree in CIS. I have been gaming ever since I could remember and frequiently set up LAN's for friends. I have been working as a tech Support rep for the local cable conglo. here but have recently gotten my first job in my field as an Implimentation Programmer. Basically i'm your average guy obsessed with technology and all things it spawns forth. I normally spend my days with my wife when i'm not working either playing Wii or computer games. Personal Description: Alright, so first thing is I am your typical 19 year-old that has no idea what to do with his life. I'm at the crossroads and stuck trying to figure out what I want. Now that I got passed the actually personal stuff, I'll tell you why i came here. I came over from the real life forums. I am about fed up with the politics and bull shit that comes from there and so I came here hoping it is a bit more rational and honest here. So far, the most important thing which is flaming seems to be not that bad here and that I am happy with. I took a look at the discussions thread and it isn't a shit storm in there, and that is usually the best indicator for the volatility of the rest of the forums. Anyways, I hope this works out. Ciao!
