I just noticed this today, but since when did the reputation system come back? Not only that, but I love how it says on certain people "{username} had better shape up" amongst other hilarious misspelling and err... other reputable remarks... yeah that's it.

By the way, how do we give reputation again?

Well you press the reputation scales and then fill out the thing. That's about it

Click the little weight scale icon, top right of a person's post. Can't miss it.

The mods changed it like 3 weeks ago, because they felt they had made it so it would eliminate things like using it as forum wang, and people giving out rep for little things, rather than keeping it meaningful.

I hope THAT never happens again. I usually don't use the rep. system unless I really feel like giving it.

Actually you won't since how much you have in relation to others is meaningless now. No listing users sorted by reputation anymore, yay!

Since only mods can give negative rep, ordinary Joes giving rep to someone "in the red" is like stealthily defying their collective will or something.

I think xravi was stating the rep description he has right now, not boasting about how good it is.
