That show is both fun, and awesome. They do some really cool stuff, and actually listen to their viewers. |

I absolutely adore this show, Discovery Channel has a knack for putting out great shows in general (Deadliest Catch, Man vs. wild, Mythbusters). I got to watch the Ninja Myths episode last night and it was pretty cool, I won't spoil it for you all though. My personal favorites are the episode when they made the Diet Coke and Mentos Rube Goldberg machine for xmas, and the Western Myths one.

The Ninja Myth episode was kinda aggervating, because on the arrow-catching myth, it's one of those times they fail to test all the variables and give up after using a rather poor and not very well thought-out rig. What makes it even more aggervating is that they had the right idea in the earlier testing. But, that's why they have pleanty of Revisit episodes. But, other then the occasionally infuriatingly badly tested myth, it's actually quite entertaining. Especially when they decide to go overboard with the explosives. Everyone loves to blow up a cement truck.
Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, Hazard Pay, Cash Cab.... Discovery Channel does has lots of cool shows.

I love this show.
Also, arrow catching? I saw a guy do that on Ripley's. Why do they do myths that they could easily identify as true with a google search? |

There is a guy that catches paint balls blind folded for gods sake. I don't think an arrow is anywhere near that hard.

I love that show, but I honestly love the antics of Carrie, Grant & Torrie just as much as Adam & Jamie.
My favorite myth was the Confederate rocket... Just 'cuz. I'm also saddened that Discovery put the kabosh on the flatulence episode. Linky 1, Linky 2 SWB

Mythbusters is a great show, despite the occasional times where they don't really include enough data, or use a bad test. However, I try to keep in mind that it's television, and not science, which is probably the better way to think about it.
