Oh, and if you want to browse that site, check out "The Doctor's Dream". I like that one particularly. ...I post in this thread far too much, don't I?

Having just watched Terror of the Autons, I must say Pertwee is quite an exceptional fellow, even better than Tom Baker in some cases (for example, the fact that he is an action Doctor!!!!). I was inspired to watch this story due to (kind of spoilers for the series three of Doctor Who finale) the recent events of the new series, and the introduction of a certain character in this serial is quite good, even if I prefer his current characterisation.
In a box fight between the Third and Fourth Doctors, the Third would hand back K9 ass to the Fourth out of nowhere. Edit: There ya go, spoiler warning! Last edited by Regulus Tera; 06-26-2007 at 11:54 AM. |

Do you mean Teh MASTAR!!!1!#@11!!shiftkey? I'm not able to keep up with current Who, but I've heard about this particular event by way of one of the several intarwebs I frequent. And I dunno, I'm kind of fond of Robert Delgado's Master (not, of course, that that has anything to do with my spoiler. Of course <.< >.> ). It takes a special kind of bastard to make time both for galactic domination/the destruction of Earth and keeping his beard trimmed to near-mathematical precision.

THAT'S A SPOILER!!! You have to spoilerify it for the American viewers!! The third series hasn't been shown in this side of the pond yet!!
But yeah, John Simm needs a beard. Also, who would've thought such killing power could be harnessed in an old man as Jon Pertwee? Me not, that's for sure. Last edited by Regulus Tera; 06-26-2007 at 11:54 AM. |

I've never been a real fan of Doctor Who in my life, even though I got to admit the show was interesting when I saw a random chapter of it back when I was living in Chicago.
That, and the fact that I have not seen it being broadcasted here in Mexico, so I could give it another chance if I *luckily* see it in one channel...

Doesn't People + Arts have it? I'm sure I've seen it sometimes in there, at least the first new series with Eccleston.

Well, if anyone is looking for online archives of current and classic eps, they might consider trying Percy Mercier. Just a thought.

This might be of note, the mashup of Dr. Who and On Holiday.
I could never really fully understand the series. I caught it once after Red Dwarf on PBS and it all seemed so strange and dependant on what had happened before. Also it was hard to hear. The title sequence was cool though.
