Yeah, so I'm going to be attending PHILCON 2007 this weekend ( http://philcon.org/2007/index.php ).
I've never attended a convention before, so I was wondering, what should I bring? Would a backpack be a good or a bad thing? Also, how much should I bring for food and stuff? Here's what I was thinking: Backpack would be good, and $50 per day. Any other suggestions? Also, anyone else going?

$50 per day is a far too small amount. If you really want to get everything you like, I suggest using a college fund. Or babies.

Having no real experience with cons, you ARE going to see a lot of stuff you'll want to buy, if they offer merchandise.
So, unless you're on a really tight budget and $50 a day is all you can afford... $50 a day is not gonna cut it.
