This is all started as a simple question on the World of Warcraft forums.

Raine knew that the Unicorn would not talk to her. Now, according to most mythology on this subject, the unicorn would likely only speak to a female virgin.

The question was simple:
Who the hell did Raine sleep with?

I always thought she had some crush on Lloyd.

That doesn't answer the question, but at least points towards her preferences.

I always thought she was just trying to get out of having to go across the water, but I think there's some obscure line elsewhere in the game that can be interpreted as her once having been in a relationship. Gah, I really need to start my fourth playthrough of that game.

She mentions some guy when she trades something she got from the Balcruff Mauseleum to that old collector in exchange for one of the Devil Arms.

She just mentions something she'd been given it by a man and shouldn't feel she was to hang on to it. It hints they were in a relationship.

I assume it would be him.

I am startled by my memory.

I guess there might be more if you managed to get her the closest to Lloyd, but I've only played through it three times, so I've only seen Colette, Genis and Sheena.

Probably a lot of people. I mean, she's an adult, right? It's kind of a given that adults aren't virgins and they're not going to chronical their every past relationship for the audience.

I never beat the game, what's all this "closest to" stuff?

It's all in how nice you are to people on your team or do crap that they like. It changes the ending. There's probably some other stuff to, but the ending being different is the biggest thing.

Man Tales was a pretty awesome game I should get a gamecube and beat it.

Edit: I was nice to everyone all the time I'd get a hella cool ending.

There's a lot of theories on this subject. The most popular being that "person" Raine mentions when you aquire the last Devil Arm. It's name elludes me. Som other less famous include doing Kratos, because everybody knows he's hawt. Another include the fact when she is on Slyverant young, and she sold her body. The last one is completely off the wall, but possible. There is quite a few.

On another, being nice to the people is determined by certain skits, and choices made throught the game. It changes some events in game. I'm not in the mood to spoil right now for anyone who hasn't actually played the game. On another not Zelos, Kratos, Genis, and Collete each give you key items use in aquiring Genis' hardest title. The title elludes me too, though. Do not quote me on Genis' item though. I know you get something in the PS2 version, but I'm not so sure about the Gamecube.
