Rumor: SSBB Beta Channel

I'm not thinking it's too likely,
they will want to keep the hype going for as long as possible before they actually release it.
I actually saw a SSBB box today in Game Stop with coming soon right under it, I wanted to cry, Nintendo is just too cruel.

SmashBoards had something like this some days ago. According to the "guy", he had "information" about the leaked "character roster" as well as "extra modes". One of them was a "Subspace Emissary Mode 2" which you could complete with secret characters as well as the appearance of Knuckles, Geno, and MOTHERFUCKING CECIL FROM FFIV. However, this one was disproven by Serebii when the "guy" had claimed Plusle and Minun would be playable. Serebii said neener neener, that's bullshit, pfft!!, which is believable considering he is the foremost authority of Pok�mon stuff.

All in all, I don't doubt there is a Beta Channel at the moment, but it has to be rigorously kept in check. This month will be the month of the leaks. Better call the plumber or, if you're not like me, stay the fuck away from the interwebz (though that would be stupid, it's a fighting game for motherfucker's sake).

Completely unlikely.

Hype is built up enough for this game as it is, there's no point in adding on a sample demo for both of the people who haven't heard of this game.

I don't think this is that kind of demo, Mirai. This usually is done to fix glitches in the online modes and whatnots, not to propel more marketing for the game.

Going by the screenshot, of course.

I still think it's unlikely. Nintendo's pretty strict about this and unless I'm mistaken the printing has already started for Brawl anyway so what's the point in a beta run?

No, but it would get a good bit of people to buy the game twice.

It probably has to do with connection issues and not so much what is coded inside the disc. But I'm probably too optimistic. The idea that someone already knows who is in the game makes me giddy with anticipation.
