Plain old disposable razor and some of that Gillette shaving cream. Cold water seems to work fine for me, I don't use that aftershave stuff. Plus if you shave in the morning, the cold does double duty of waking you up faster.

Then again, compared to a lot of guys on NPF (damn you and your Darwin-rivalling beards) I have like practically no facial hair, so I probably have an easier time getting a close shave. I'd try one of those straight razors, but I don't think I have a real need for one.

I used my little exacto-y box cutter (normally reserved for art-crafting!) once because I was outta the little disposable razors during a camping trip. It still turned out just fine.

Phobic, that's the one i meant. Gilette's original safety razor looked a lot like that.

I use a 2-blade safety razor. I only use it to rid myself of my 'stache that never grows in full, but gets noticeable.
