It could totally be sarcasm. I mean, they suggested sarcasm tags for Mesden, but part of the reason I don't think they were implemented was because with her, it's pretty much assumed. DFM, not so much.

Anyway switching gears back OT, the mods are kinda cool I guess... when they're not surreptitiously placing their Cocks of Power up our asses (.... now where the fuck did that come from?). Nah, but seriously the mods are all right. They can be harsh sometimes, but in the end, it's hard to imagine this place being run under a different crew... yes even Krylo (though I'm betting that post Krylo "made" was actually Meister posting under Krylo's name *puts on tinfoil hat*)....

Also, in regards to the forumites in general, what can I say? One moment we get to talking about man orgies and the next we talk about the finer points of monogamy. That's the kind of people we are. The serious and the silly. Sorta like what I did with this very post (Yes, the mental rape was to prove a point! Genius!) Just fuckin' around in one moment and then earnestly supporting another member in the next. We got a good thing going on here... HAHA BUT LOOK AT ME BEING SO SERIOUS ALL OF THE SUDDEN NOW WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE BRING BACK THE WACKY AND POST A YODA DOG OR A CANDLEJACK OR SOMETHING.... please....

Really, the age group of the forum tends towards late teens to young adult. I'm twenty. I may not feel like it, but my birth certificate plus math says so.

Then again, some people might argue I sound older than I feel, but that's an unfortunate side effect of never having written anything but formal crap for school. I really don't talk like this.

Edit: On topic, I ~~probably~~ definitely do a lot more helping than getting helped. It's really just because that's the kind of person I am.

I remember a coupla times where people here helped me keep my old, piece-o'-shit computer from imploding on me in a vortex of blue-screened despair and rage. Also there was one time where I was actually shuttling between my room and the living room while my parents and I and you guys here were trying to get the hard drive of some other computer unlocked. (It never did unlock, but that's because the computer was fucked up, not because of anything you guys did.) Also also, the first day or so I was here, I asked for an avatar in the thread in Arts and Crafts--and boom! I got one, right off the bat. There're probably other occasions, but those are just off the top of my head.

edit: Wait, you guys were pretty awesome when my mother broke her ankle and things were kind of shitty. You guys are wonderful and I move for a group hug of some sort.

Ah, it's in general, so i need to actually post something sensible.
I always regard a general discussion forum as one of the best places to get advice from a neutral standpoint. Granted, the advice needs to be filtered by the actions of mods and through one's own common sense, but for quick, (hopefully) appropriate advice, fine. Forums FTW.

Well, bluestarultor helped me figure out how to make tastier waffles, and one or two other things I can't remember. I remember Krylo giving me some advice concerning relationships that was really helpful way way back, and not so far back when I made that one "Relationship help thread" (Looking back, it actually is kind of embarrassing) it was locked, but I actually got PM's from 2 different people offering advice and sympathy.

In general, though, advice and sympathy is given to all and by most in the forum. Good for us?
