Stupid Heroics And Epic Moments in Gaming?

I was playing Halo 2 online. The map was blood gulch, or whatever Halo 2 called it, during an assualt game.

I grab the bomb and get in the passenger seat of a warthog. There was no gunner. My driver just heads straight for red base. The red guys must have all been attacking or inside their base, because no one seemed to notice us approach. I got out of the warthog as we drove around behind the base, but the guy driving the warthog just kept on going and left me behind. By myself, at the enemy base, holding the bomb.

I crouch walked towards the red base, so as to not appear on anyone's radar. I managed to get inside the bottom garage-like area where the banshee spawns. A red guy walked out of the top floor and just stared outside. He was directly above me. I kept crouchwalking further inside. Another red guy walked right past the garage and didn't notice me. Amazed at my luck, I sneaked behind the gravlift thing and looked up through the glass floor. About 3 or 4 red guys were running around their base aimlessly. I waited until no one was in the room above me and entered the lift. I then succesfully planted the bomb and managed to get outside where I was quickly mowed down by enemy fire. But we got the point.

Damn, I felt like Solid Snake.
