To beat event 41, Luigi works best. Side B near the ledge until Giga-Mario suicide-jumps. if you're quick enough, he's dies within 10 seconds, then within 30 seconds. Then Sonic and Snake are a cakewalk, since Sonic is your new main threat, and Snake is a joke. he doesn't jump on this event at all.

Ugh, I hate the boss rush mode. One of the challenges is to beat it on intense difficulty. There's no continues in the boss battles, making this challenge a real bitch, I can't even beat it on very hard, let alone intense. To make things worse, the hammers in the challenges screen don't work on this one.
Anyone have any tips?

Sonic/Luigi combo smoke like every boss I've ever fought for some reason.

Sonic makes sense - the optimum boss fighting style is to put meters between you and the boss while they wind up a stupid overpowered attack, then run in, hit, and run out before the next stupid overpowered attack. That fighting style is perfectly supported by Sonic's parameters.
I dunno what'd make Luigi so good. Maybe his strong air moves? I guess you could also sweet-spot his up-B easily enough. Also, does anyone else think that this part of the SSE was a perfect character moment? After a moment of hesitation, they're about to tag Ganondorf for the revive and then Bowser. That was so. totally. Bowser. |

I'm trying to unlock the entire vault(I know I'm crazy) and some of the stuff makes me cringe. Collect all stickers? 500 trophies? Clear boss battles on intense? This stuff is insane. I already have 300 stickers and almost 250 trophies. Isn't that enough? Man... Also: What's everyone's best homerun contest? Mine is 18**.* solo, 3713.7 co-op. Also again: How come whenever I try to online brawl, I can never seem to find anyone? It just says seeking.

God, they're an amazing team, if you have a friend who's good with Ganondorf, anyway.

One thing that kind of bothered me is Master Hand gets owned by Tabu and never gets up. I think Sonic stole his big revenge scene. Also, no Crazy Hand..
I liked when Ness, Luigi, and Dedede give Wario that "What the hell, man?" look. I'm not so sure why his jaw dropped at that. |

Pretty sure it's because he attacked Dedede as a sort of petty revenge. And then his jaw dropped when he saw he was outnumbered 3 to 1. Leave it to Wario to back out when the odds are against him.

I have a couple of questions about this game.
1. Controller setup. There are 4 main types with customization, correct? Are there any obvious reasons to use one type over the other? (I have a 1 Wii-mote+nunchuck and 1 Gamecube controller. I'm not sure what type of controller to buy next, but will probably make it a Gamecube so non-Wii owners will feel comfortable.) 2. Is there an option for tag-team battles (switching back and forth between characters), either solo or multi-player? Or is it something like "pick x amount of fighers and go through them in a set order" sort of thing? 3. How good is the AI? Thanks in advance. The Wandering God |

My plan for event 41 on normal was
1. Use Ike. 2. Beat the shit out of everyone. I only think it worked cause I got lucky and got a Laser Gun and killed off Mario and Sonic with it. And I think Nintendo's servers are still choking on the amount of people trying to Brawl online which is why you can't find anyone Dular. To The Wandering God. I haven't used the classic controller so I don't know about that one but as far as Gamecube vs Wiimote + Nunchuck it's pretty much whatever you prefer to use no specific advantage I can think of. The single player portion of the game has a lot of sections where you choose a series of characters to advance through a stage. When you die you continue as the next character you picked in order, it's really just a diverse version of having multiple lives but that's the closest thing to tag battling. The AI at higher levels is very good at predicting your attacks and timing it's own. I think it's been entirely redone from the previous games. It is still AI and and will fall to the correct strategy, it's just a matter of discovering it.
