Default Foreign Language Music

The lyrics thread seemed to open up a font of foreign language music love, so I thought a thread devoted to it couldn't hurt.

Now, I might come off sounding like a broken record, but you all should really be listening to Sigur Ros. Like, now.

Sigur Ros is always good.

Here's a Romanian band that I enjoy, they have quite a mellow, laid back sound in this song

I love Rammstein. A lot of their stuff sounds epic, and my quite fond of their softer songs as well. When I heard "Mein Herz Brennt" on the Hellboy 2 trailer, I about lost it.

I just saw the trailer for the movie... It gave me the tinglies. The good kind.

A few J-rock bands come to mind as well: Gackt, Sambomaster, MONORAL, which are quite good too.

Die Apokalyptischen Reiter

Or The Apocalyptic Riders

I really just like "Roll My Heart" and "Friede sei mit Dir" because they are extremely catchy.

Well, since Seil already listed E Nomine (damn you) guess I'll go to the backup.

Corvus Corax. German. When they do have lyrics it is in a variety of languages. Usually German, Latin, Romanian, etc.

Turmion Kätilöt, nothin like some good ol' home grown Finnish heavy industrial metal. As one comment aptly states, "pure adrenaline music."

Das Ich German Industrial, good stuff.

Thats all I can think of at the moment.
