Seil you do know the US actually did back all those right-wing dictators that the guy who wrote that article was complaining the US backed, right? That was totally a thing that our government did.

I mean I guess you can say the tone is a bit over the top but as far as his main points that 1. our government does a lot of terrible things 2. our national news media ignores these things 3. our country imprisons a lot more people than any other country does (I had a sig about this a while back actually) he's pretty much correct.
