EDIT: Woops, forgot to finish my thread title, it's supposed to say "Don Rosa's The Life of Scrooge McDuck"
This is Don Rosa's comic about the rise of Scrooge McDuck (yes THAT one) from poor boy in Glascow to his riches today. It can best be described as "very awesome", given that our language isn't well-equipped enough to succinctly elaborate. Suffice it to say, it is worth reading. Includes: Scrooge kicking ass everywhere Scrooge being awesome Scrooge being a fully-fledged, three-dimensional character Scrooge being awesome [imghide]http://disneycomics.free.fr/Ducks/Rosa/klondike/20.jpg[/imghide] [imghide]http://disneycomics.free.fr/Ducks/Rosa/klondike/21.jpg[/imghide] I only wish I had discovered this sooner.

I was actually pretty impressed when this was first shown to me.
Scrooge McDuck is basically the best Disney character ever. Donald inherited a lot of his awesome genes but not quite all of them.

Don Rosa is by far the most talented person ever to work for Disney. His work alone makes all the years of bland, timid, featureless comics before and after his time worth it. And here you can apparently read all of it for free. The Intertubes just keep giving.

Don Rosa is absolutely my favourite Donald Duck (or Aku Ankka here) artist.
I like him even better than I do his own idol Carl Barks. I'm not sure if he still currently works for a Danish publisher, but I do know that atleast at a time he did. And that meant a lot of his works being published here, I have a lot of them. Infact, I think that some of them were published ONLY here. Atleast the one that about "Sampo" and "Kalevala", which are from finnish folk lore. He 'often' makes some references to Finland actually in his comics and in the explanations of his comics. He's been to Finland a few times and says he likes Finland because here we read the most Donald Ducks in the world (per capita that is of course). The name of the magazine we get here is "Donald Duck" which is why I keep calling his works with that name.

I've got all of these in comic book form. I love that book, it contains a lot of awesomeness.
