Default Opossums
I have no words for Sosa regarding his regard for the opossum.

I like opossums. I had an opossum living in my front room for three weeks, once. He ate cat kibbles out of the cats' general dish. I could pet him. He didn't leave a mess and never made a sound. Slept in the middle of a pile of boxes like his own kid fort. Originally he snuck in when the front door had been left open for a couple of minutes. He departed in much the same way.

Opossums are what Mickey Mouse would look like if Mickey had been drawn by Ralph Steadman. I like opossums.

While I commend your affection for oppossums I do believe this should be in off-topic, you know, more of a random post that this is. Unless you're trying to bring to light a certain question about opossums that we might be able to help or discuss. I don't want to speak for anyone else, but I don't think NPF is a fortress of opossum knowledge.

In my childhood in the Central Pennsylvanian Wilderness, it was not uncommon for roving bands of bored, shiftless teenagers to go on "opossum kicking" expeditions on weekend nights.

Only thing geese have done to me to warrant dislike is waking me up at 7 in the effing morning with their load squaking as they migrate back and forth. I've never had to deal with an possum, only a woodchuck at one point, quite hilarious actually.

The only thing Geese want to do is kill you and any other living thing that goes near it. They tolerate other geese for two reasons: 1) Sex. 2) So the others will help them beat the crap out of anything that bothers them.

They are a protected species on my campus. Which means you can't defend yourself against them, only run. And they fucking know this.
