Well, I don't know much on this subject, but the bag of holding most probably is like a smaller pocket dimension. So long as the gate between dimensions was closed, (i.e. the top of the bag) then the ice couldn't escape.

Im just saying that unless he stuck his hand into the bag and cast ice 9 then it would go everywhere thus "killing" everyone like the spell says it should

just something to think about
since ice 9 should be some large range ice blast, and I know that B.O.H is a pocket dimention, but like it says above, hand in bag or planet, room, universe, gets frozen or whatever

Black mage cos' he likes mindless destruction, and I like mindless destruction. That practically makes us brothers doesn't it?

Also, his hand wasnt in the bag. He just aimed the spell in there.

Black mage, ESPECIALLY if he survives the whole datacube/sphere thing with his brain intact (or as intact as it gets usually, assuming he has a brain)
Also I voted for Black mage because he keeps the annoying fanboys out of the comic.

If the spell was just aimed from outside the bag, then at least a small bit of it should have escaped. Its just kinda annoying for some people because that bit of knowledge was ignored, and not considered like it should have been.

Just imagine how annoying the comic would be if some fanboy managed to sneak his way into the pages. But with black mage there, they would get stabbed.

It's not supposed to make sense, just be funny. Though sometimes having a fanboy in the comic getting stabbed or blown up or something wouldn't be a bad thing (case in point, thiscomicsucks did it by setting one on fire, kicking another in the crotch, etc.. friggin' hilarious stuff)

Yes, I like it when they show idiots who are all OMG OMG OMG OMG IT'S YOU!!! over a fictional character getting the crap kicked out of them lol, usually some sense gets beat into them in the process. Or they die. Either way it shuts them up.
