Those stairs are the funniest crap I"ve ever seen in the comic yet, and I didn't think I'd see anything funnier than that Team Fortress Pooh thing.

The humor logic flows so well in this! A return of random, inexplicable encounters, More dragons than you can shake a stick at (in reality guys, there were Millions of dragons, they could just only attack you 9 at a time, so consider this as Reality Vs. Gameplay), followed by a direct refusal to conform to the game they're from, "Fuck you!", which serves to turn events around followed by a conclusion of BM's line about a dangerous lack of railing.

Also, as a frequent Staircase victim, I find that running down stairs is not a good idea, even if there are dragons after you. Especially if you're laden down with heavy swords and stuff. Especially swords, and I always wonder if it's because of our heroes superhuman stamina that they never seem to tire having to down down like 20+ flights of stairs to get to that dungeon that somehow is also where the earth's core should be.

My view of stairs may be biased because the stairs in my house are a bit too steep, are missing railing near the top (where they'd be needed most), are splintery, and to add insult to injury, all steps have strips of sand paper on them. At first glance you'd think the sandpaper would help keep you from falling or tripping, but really it just makes it so when you fall down the stairs you also get the skin on your arms and face rubbed off.
