I'm PRETTY sure I beat Ninja Gaiden when I was younger as that end screen Bit Vyper posted was pretty familiar, but that was long ago and I'm not 100% sure.
That end screen is practically copy-pasted into every one. Honestly, I have to wonder how many times in Hayabusa's day the thought, "how the hell am I gonna get down from here," goes through his head.

Anyway, as long as we're measuring our gaming penises, I beat a bunch of them there NES games too.

Yeah, QFT.

Call me crazy here but the wrench once you get a handful of plasmids and genes is like the best in the game. Jolt holds them in place while you whack at them, Freeze makes it so they die almost instantly with a few hits, and even still it's laughably easy to dodge some of the splicer's attacks considering they go all "YEARGH!" and leap into the air.

The guns could be upgraded but only a couple of times whereas the Wrench could just keep on getting it's damage pumped up like crazy.

Even still, the Chambers.

On acheivements: I remembered forcing myself to beat Culex without the Lazy Shell armor, that took a long time. It was just loads of leveling up but damn it was satisfying to send that Final Fantasy 4 fucker back to the right game. Loved the theme song/victory music though.

Oh man, Lufia 2's World's Most Difficult Trick without a guide. I must have left that system on for three days straight while I left the room, came back, tinkered with it, went to sleep, woke up, went to school, came home, worked on it, etc etc etc.

Please, the crossbow with the trap bolts, or shotgun with electric shells were both far more unbalanced and powerful.

I'm going to run up to you and hit you with a wrench for ridiculous damage, or I'm going to shotgun you for nearly equal damage, except it ALSO PARALYZES YOU. Seriously, Big Daddy's go down like bitches.

Also--for the record, I never used shock or freeze that play through. They were pretty much boring. And a complete waste of plasmid power or whatever the hell it was called.

Contra solo, fairly impressive. Battletoads, damn, you're good.

Journey to Silius (NES) anyone? I swear that game made me hate life for years.

I still remember the first level to Silius and beating the first boss with jumping and ducking right afterwards...

Very true. The shotgun kicked ungodly amounts of ass. I pretty much don't even bother using anything else.

Journey to Silius
Had a soundtrack worthy of Megaman. Oh, and I beat it. I like that it was originally supposed to be a videogame set in the Terminator series, but since they lost the rights, the plot wound up amounting to "*mumble mumble*terrorists killed your father or something."

Chem thrower, electric gel, reduced consumption upgrade is by far the most overpowered really. You don't even need to do anything, just point and hold down the trigger until stuff stops moving. Even Big Daddies drop within about 10 seconds.

As for my acheivments, erm.... I can er.... actually play Wipeout on Phantom speed with the AI set to hard and win. Yeah, that's about all I got really, I tend to just be pretty good at several games, but not being super-awesome at any one of them.

EDIT; Oh, I can get halfway through DMC4 on DMD mode and I can complete DMC3 and the GoWs on hard. I also managed to get all of the Celestial weapons on FFX. I dunno, some people seem to find that difficult for some reason.
