I have forsaken television. I dont watch it anymore. I found that, the less time I had to watch it (or wanted to), the less shows were on that were actually worth watching. For some reason, saturday and sunday, when people actually have more time to watch, there is never anything good on. So I stopped paying for it. I was basically paying 80+$ a month for Discovery, History Channel and Spike. I couldnt get into Primetime tv anymore, it was all either some fake-ass reality show I dont care about, or series with a plotline you need a season's DVD and a Rosetta Stone to decipher.
That, and I'm pissed with the cable company's monopoly. They want 80 bucks for the first 70 channels, 15 of which, you get with an antenna for free. Thats not even digital, and no cable box, either. I only want about 4 of those channels, can I pay 15$ and have just them?

For my last semester I have counted down the hours left that I have of lectures, then converted it to minutes and finally seconds.

I'm boring.

On the plus side, I'm now at 8.5 hours/510 minutes/30600 seconds until I'm done lectures forever.

Yeah, we cancelled our cable contract just the other day. In the unlikely event that we're in the mood for some TV we'll fiddle around with the antenna and digital receiver box. Or just look on the internet.

I am mildly nearsighted and have to get glasses now. After I get them I'm going to attempt to mess with my friends heads by convincing them I've worn them all along, since before they met me. If I can get at least one person to question their own memory, it'll have been worth it.

Um... I still play Pokemon. That's not a paraphilia. Or at least, it isn't for me.
