On another subject, after 14 pages I thought surely someone else would say this, but they didn't. So I will.

Do the "Red Box" comments in 434 not seem a little out of character for Red Mage? He is the one character who acts like they're in the middle of a D&D game. If he believed he were in a D&D game, wouldn't that mean he'd expect his life to have a narrative? Is it really in his character to think "things just happen"?
