I cannot really explain why I loved Drag Me to Hell so much. It was almost like the feeling I got when I watched Evil Dead for the first time, only magnified due to the fact that I wasn't distracted by the 80's effects.
The main character is picture perfect for the story, which is, I think, at it's heart a romance. Now that Raimi is over his 'spider' period, I think that we can expect much more horror/comedy from him. And if it maintains even half the quality of Drag Me to Hell, I'll still be a happy camper. I've never laughed so hard at someone killing their cat .

Yeah, I wasn't sure if this was supposed to be funny like Evil Dead 2/Army of Darkness or schlock horror like Evil Dead 1. Previews seemed to want to make it look like horror but I'm getting the feeling it's not? Which is good, since I thought EV2 and Army of Darkness are probably the funniest movies I've ever seen.
