Not necessarily. If I was lying, then anyone who sends in a nightrole anyways would perform an action.

For the record, my "scummy" actions at the beginning of the game were things I would have said even if I was a town.

Oron, what, were you a secret mafia member? Good thing, we considered feeding your "Corrupt Cop" name to the town via TWG and getting you lynched...

I thought we had no hope in hell of winning. We honestly had the weirdest setup ever. We had a bodyguard who could ONLY DEFEND NOT-MAFIA, someone who had to stay alive for us to kill every night, the investigator, and me, who NEEDED TO STAY ALIVE or the mafia wouldn't get ANY actions at night.

I'm extremely shocked we pulled a win out of those odds, and with town having two cops and a bodyguard. It helped having TWG "confirmed" for most of the game too.
