Masaki - Pretty good, but that picture needs help in the perspective department. With all of those straight lines going into the distance it's pretty much required to have an understanding of perspective. Look up some references on how to do perspective.

In other news, I've been working on realism.

I'm still a total nerd.

It's supposed to be one-point perspective. I know I've learned it in class about three times, and I grabbed up three or four references and it's still wrong. Goddamnit.

So after a very long drawing hiatus (I lost my stylus but I finally got a new one in the mail), I needed to familiarize myself with my tablet again. I started with a warm up yesterday:

There's no real context to it, just wanted to draw someone really angry (and on fire). But after that, I decided to draw something I had floating around in my head for ages:

Interesting style on Aku's shadows, making them entirely out of directional line.

Aah Samurai Jack! Great show, and great art!

I really love that guy on fire too. XD

Apologies in advance for the GIGANTIC picture. (If it's a problem, I'll smush it down to a link or something). It's just a giant conglamoration of a small fraction of the crap I draw in paintchat all the time. Some of it you're already seen, but there's a bunch of other stuff. Most of it is just cut to be my stuff, but I just had to leave the steampunk one whole because I love it so much.

Thanks. Since he's got the whole shape shifting thing, I thought I'd give him a sense of "shapelessness" kinda.

Thanks! I'm pretty proud of myself on that one, actually. I guess the stars and the planets were aligned the day I drew that because I actually had like zero trouble trying to draw both Jack and Aku, even though I know for a fact I probably should've have more issues. I guess the long break helped out a bit.

And CJ, I can only imagine the conversations that took place that would spawned such creations. They're all really neat, though. It's like every time I look at it I find something new, or some small detail I missed previously.

Sadly, my artist rejected this script as a prologue. I'll have to write a new one and insert as flashbacks and i'll likely need a new cover page.
