Truthfully, I believe the Person of the decade should be Jon Stewart. He wasn't the original host of the Daily Show sure, and he had been running the Daily show for a year before the decade started, it wasn't until the 2000 election that the daily show started to really shine, and Jon spearheading the whole thing. He also works on the set as an Executive and Writer, and we have him to thanks for not only bringing a lot more focus on Political issues and changes in the way people see news, but it has also been a launching point of quite a few careers. Sure Stephen Colbert is funny, but he has Jon Stewart to thank for that.
