NP, I have some reasonable complaints about some people - Page 4

I'm not sure what happened. After I grew up I just kinda realized and accepted that I was unattractive.
No fighting it, or trying to fix it by buying the expensive clothes or fixing myself up nice. It seems that in people's eyes nothing makes up for being unnatractive so I just said fuck it.

I'm heaps happier now that I'm not burdened by all that false hope for acceptance.

It seems kind of ironic that when I was a teen all I wanted was to be accepted and now that I'm an adult I spend the majority of real life social interactions rejecting people and suddenly everyone wants me to accept them.

:P Krylo has the right idea. All that matters is what you want.

People who insist on saying Im sorry at wakes/funerals. We know, we don't need to be constantly reminded of the fact. Whats worse is people who never actually knew the deceased, telling you that they never did, and that they are sorry. Or people you hate trying to be all friendly about it. yeah

EDIT: And guidos screaming about how they are "so Italian". No. you lost the right to call yourself italian when you started acting like a dumbass.

My issue with people is how everyone is judgmental on how I look. How they stare at me when I buy groceries and silently judge me. Call em paranoid, but it is the accumulation of almost 2 decades of ridicule.

I think both would suck pretty equally. I'm not sure if I'd rather be fat and have weird temperatures going on, or be really skinny and having my entire lung collapse occasionally.

I'd say you both got it pretty bad.

This. Yes. When my roommate and I went to buy Metal Gear Solid 4 the cashier asked us "is this for one of your boyfriends?"

As far as people judging you on your outward appearances (in general, not Mauve's complaint specifically): I was born blind in my left eye, I grew up getting funny looks(and comments to my face) since before I could remember (literally) so by now I am way past giving a damn. My favorite insult so far is "one-eyed freak", compliments my middle school best friend's sister. xD People are dumb, don't let them get to you, just laugh silently to yourself.

Edit: The best part is I could totally just get a contact to make my eye look normal, but I'm comfortable with the way I am so screw that. That's why I never really understood the girls(and guys, I guess) who are super gorgeous getting super expensive surgeries because their ears stick out a little too much. I'm glad I don't have (that many) self esteem problems, I guess.

Man, Judging people is great!

My personal favorite is walking up to really skinny and really fat people and letting them know, just in case they didn't know, they are in fact fat/skinny.

I do this because I view it as my cosmic duty to let people know they are not meeting my standards. Some may call me an asshole I just call myself: America

Bonus points if a girl is play video games because we can't have that
