Also I know no one on that list except Hayate and Inuyasha and I have not watched either of their shows.

The only one I haven't at least heard of is Zetta Karen Children. I haven't read a lot of them either.
Should have seen that coming.

Yeah, no, seriously, who the hell's this Ippo person you're on about?
I know who Conan is, but he makes less than zero sense in a fighting game, so I'm just going to pretend they mean the barbarian, but who the fuck is Ippo?

He's from a long running boxing manga, I don't read it, but he does fit in a fighting game pretty well. Also yeah Conan makes no sense really.

It's selling terribly compared to other games in Japan. The developers would like to make a sequel though.
Anyway, I hope this game ends up being a worthy spiritual successor to JUS. Air Gear and Kekkaishi rep means I'll definetely be playing this. |

Surely the roster for this will get bigger as time goes by...
...although i am surprised on just how much over your guys head Inuyasha just flew by! But this being a Shogakukan Vs Kodansha there is room for a lot more franchises to be in on this, like Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, Ranma, Pokemon (yeah... no chance), Patlabor, Utena and Monster |

*crosses fingers*
If the characters in there don't just fit right into a fighting game, they aren't doing it right.

It barely managed the TOP 30 its first week, and it's nowhere to be seen in the TOP 50 during the second. It sold ~25k, but considering shipments are said to be of less than 35k I'd say Capcom knew what to expect. It doesn't help that the game was barely advertised and that the arcade version wasn't out long enough to promote the game in the fighting fandom.

Square-Enix would be my first choice. Although, barring that: ![]() It is awesome. Seriously. It's like Marvel VS Capcom meets Guilty Gear X2. Last edited by Regulus Tera; 12-27-2008 at 01:59 PM. |

If they really want to push the franchice they should release the damn game in the US, or come out with MvC 3 already. From what I gather Japan has never been into the Vs series, regardless of the characters involved, and TvC seems to be suffering that same fate. However people in the US who have got to play it love it. The Wii port not having online was also a terrible decision that really killed my hype for it.
