He's from a long running boxing manga, I don't read it, but he does fit in a fighting game pretty well. Also yeah Conan makes no sense really.

There's at least two boxers people should know:
Hajime no Ippo and Ashita no Joe

Ippo is the Little Mac of the boxing world
Where you can look at Joe as similar to Rocky.

...although i am surprised on just how much over your guys head Inuyasha just flew by!

But this being a Shogakukan Vs Kodansha there is room for a lot more franchises to be in on this, like Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, Ranma, Pokemon (yeah... no chance), Patlabor, Utena and Monster

It barely managed the TOP 30 its first week, and it's nowhere to be seen in the TOP 50 during the second. It sold ~25k, but considering shipments are said to be of less than 35k I'd say Capcom knew what to expect. I'd love to see a TatsuCap 2, but if Capcom really wants to push the franchise back they should choose a more internationally marketable company.

If they really want to push the franchice they should release the damn game in the US, or come out with MvC 3 already. From what I gather Japan has never been into the Vs series, regardless of the characters involved, and TvC seems to be suffering that same fate. However people in the US who have got to play it love it. The Wii port not having online was also a terrible decision that really killed my hype for it.
