Home Alone should have resulted in Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern's brutal deaths, followed by Kevin Maculkin having to dismember their bodies and then conquer his fear of the incinerator long enough to feed his collection of limbs and torsos into it, the movie ending with him somehow visually indicating his cracking good notions for how to resolve his longstanding differences with his brother Bud.

Outlaw Star: In some way that actually made sense because godDAYUMN. The series was golden up until like, the last two-three episodes. Then it got on the crazy train and rode that sucker into oblivion.
Death Note: After L Lawliet's death, because honestly the show had one of two potential endings, and that was the first one. The second possible ending was what they went with, though only after jumping ahead several years. ZZ Gundam: The entire series was pretty bad, to be honest. It kept jumping from idea to idea while not having any really central themes attached to it, and once it DID fine itself around episode 20, it was actually pretty good... Until the last 4-5 episodes, where everyone who was in the previous series ditched the ship for no discernable reason, the main character had a sudden and MASSIVE change of perspective on his entire reason for fighting in this war, and basically everything the show had managed to make good was instantly stupidified into a nonsensical mess. Basically had they kept with the themes they were following to that point, didn't have Bright et al randomly hand the ship over to a bunch of teenagers who'd been causing more trouble than they were worth up till that point, and otherwise kept the final chain of events the same, ZZ could've been a great series with a flawed start. Instead it's a bad to mediocre series with a great stretch of episodes that ends in a way that actually made me angry I enjoyed anything involving the series. |

The Dark Knight should have ended with Superman swooping in and saving Harvey and Batman from that fall. No one would have seen that coming.
All-Star Superman should have ended after an amazing 100 issue run by Morrison and Quitely. |

No. But I removed it from the quote anyway.
