I did a lot of posting on here as a teenager, and I was pretty awful. Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways. Yeah, Oregon is home to a very eco-conscious culture, so I'm not surprised watershed health is a big issue. It can also play hell with damage to infrastructure.

In addition to the water thing I think there's also road quality to consider. A lot of the most effective ways to remove snow and ice are harsh on the road you're trying to clear.

None of you know the pain of driving an ambulance with a critical patient in the back in the rain in New York City. All of your arguments are invalid.

People need to learn to get the fuck out of the way of an ambulance with their lights and sirens on. Also, it's pull to the right and stop. Not pull to the left with your ass sticking into my lane, not slow down right in front of me, and certainly not pull in front of me.

Also, all you people who tailgate ambulances so you can get through traffic can die of asshole cancer...
