Also Valentine's Day has crept into Friday as half the shows I watch are putting on reruns instead of new episodes because I presume that the assumption is half the couples decided to wait one more day to have a night out. This is reason enough to hate the holiday.

The networks have decided that your significant other shall force you out into the dreary cold tonight anyway, on average.

I assume they are a bit stupid--it's kind of like how Thanksgiving TV is canceled as well, despite the fact that by 8:00 at night even the most stalwart person will have gotten sick to death of their relatives and wish to relax with their favorite primetime drama.

Only a $300 fine in your state? I believe it's $1,000 here in Washington State.

Actually, I just checked up on it, and it can be up to a $5,000 fine in my state. Granted, that's illegal dumping status, and the littered heart would be more like $100. But still!
