As a rural Ontarion snow has always been a regular part of my life. We got a mini-snowstorm yesterday, about 15 cm. School was canceled. Too bad I'm out of school and go to work instead >_>

I've never ever liked snow. Sure, it looks pretty when it's freshly fallen, but then people trod around in it and turn it into some sort of disgusting muddy slush mixture. And it's cold. And you have to shovel it. And driving in it is a pain.

I hate winter. Moving to Hawaii as soon as I can (volcanoes > snow).

Over here in Alberta, there tends to be giant lumps of snow from everyone shovelling them. In July. In winter, It would be about -35 and 25cm of snow on the ground and we'd still have to go to school.

But that was a few years back. Only recently we've got our first snowfall, which was about 10cm. Pretty small.

I never shovel the snow, and I don't have my driver's license. I guess that's why I like winter. The canal! It's the world's longest skating rink and I love it! Can't wait until it's open.

We get that too, just it's usually just the first snowfall the school board freaks out and they're OMG THE KIDS ARE GOING TO DIE WE MUST CANCEL SCHOOL WE TOTALLY WEREN'T EXPECTING THIS EVEN THOUGH WE LIVE IN CANADA!

Then later in the year, when it's -35 you wonder why they canceled school on the first day with snowfall but not now. My parents have let me stay home when it was really cold, cause honestly, waiting for the bus at 6:40 am while hoping you don't get frostbite blows. Usually it hovers around -20 in January and February, with random days where it's really cold.

I think that's exactly why it would be more confusing.

"Wait. We're turning Canadian?! OH NOEZ!!!"

-40 on the Kelvin Scale, though, would mean we'd all be dead anyway.

But snowmen brings snowsmiles to all the snowchildren in snowtown! D: Are you planning to snowsteal all the snowsmiles from snowtown with your snowwand of snowsorrow? That's evil! Snowevil!
(Okay, I'll snowstop now).
