Donomni hit the nail right on the head. I was disappointed myself by the fact that Latias was banned to Ubers. Hell, I'm disappointed some of my favorites aren't OU, but I can at least still use them in OU. Likewise, all of the Borderline stuff I use (i.e. Crobat) is banned from UU. Which I prefer to OU, were it not for the fact that I use Scizor in almost every team I run.

It's sad not because people are teling you how to play, it's sad because to get to this point, the point of tiers and shit, you honestly have to become obsessed with the game to the point where you're no longer actually having fun. It has become serious business. Pokemon. Fighting little cute critters in rockem' sockem' combat. They are so obsessed with it they have to calculate, weigh, categorize, tabulate, and effectively suck all the fucking fun out of the experience.

And that is sad and pathetic like... something i cannot even fathom.

I have no idea what the fuck any of that means, but I assume it is terrible and thus it should never ever be spoken again.

Just... not give a fuck. Play the game in a way that is carefree and fun. If anyone complains or anything about what you use along the lines of "that's an uber, bluh bluh banned bluh bluh", punch them in the fucking balls and find a new friend.

No, Mike, you're missing the point. Like, REALLY fucking hard. The reason I'm interested in tiers in pokemon? The reason I participate in stuff like Smogon? Because I thoroughly fucking enjoy the games. Do you seriously think I'd put so many hours into something I hate?

You've got some idea in your head that because I can look at a list of tiers and, god forbid, play with other people who have seen those tiers and agree to follow them with me, that I'm not enjoying the game anymore. Or fuck, even worse, you seem to think that because I enjoy the tiers in the game that somehow I'm out to fucking ruin the game for you. Because if you can't enjoy a game MY way, clearly you're doing it wrong. Actually, that last sentence seems to be the idea you're sharing; if I don't play how Mike motherfucking McC plays Pokemon, maybe I'm not a REAL fan of Pokemon.
