The Wandering God is a name known to all, except that guy. The Wandering God is a name known to all, except that guy.
Default Favorite mini-game

By mini-game, I mean it could be anything from chocbo breeding, to trying to hunt for every last skulltala to obtain that super rare item.

My personal favorite has to be the card game from Xenogears (mainly played on or around the the Thames.) It's basically a version of speed, except you run around the field and walk over giant sized cards. And that penguin at the end is wicked good.

Tied for first would have to be the card game from FF8. 9 and X-2 just couldn't really compare in my opinion, as it was perfectly balanced. (Good luck trying to collect'em all though. I gave up when I realized the Queen of Cards home base rule was random, along with several others that just gave me a headache.)

So, what's yours?

I'd have to say the Duel Puzzles from Yugioh GX: Duel Academy.

Close second is Mario Party 2 in its entirety. There was probably only one or two minigames I didn't like in that game, and I can't remember them at all, so...

I liked the table-hockey-ish game from Beyond Good and Evil. It was fast and fun, and pretty easy to master. Plus, the music was cool.

I also liked the Whack-A-Metalhead game in Jak II, where you use the arrow keys and action buttons to control opposite sides of the table. (Come on! Demonic-looking Daxter thwacking metal head puppets with an oversized foam bat! How can you NOT like it?) It took me FOREVER to beat that thing. There was much cursing. But it was fun.

Minigames? Many suck, while others are fun.

Poster Duty in Kingdom Hearts 2? SUCK!

Gummi Ships in Kingdom Hearts 1? ROCK!

The Arcade Games in FFVII? SUCK!!!!

The Monster Arena in FFX? ROCK!!!!

Fifth and Krylo made me do it.

Allow me to dissagree with you on that, Raiden.

I liked the poster duty and mail delivery mini-games in KH2. But down right, the new Gummi Ship levels are FANTASTIC. It's so...remoniscent of Star Fox, of which I am a fan, and I just can't help but love it.

I liked that defend-the-mountain bit in FFVII.

Ewww, I found that boring and slow.

Favorite minigame? Probably from Mario Party, the one where you have to scoop in the right number of nuts?

Actually, 95% of the minigames from Mario Party, and Pokemon Stadium were fun (With friends).

I only did that that one time because I had to for the game (I remember the Phoenix materia was involved). I won without ever really knowing what was going on.
