Evil gods never seem to give a damn about their minions. But I guess if there's always some new shmoe looking for a shortcut to power, they can afford to be a little callous.

Alright, Quickman's confused. Like, seriously confused.
Blown into the sky? Nuked outta his mind? Where'd the explosion come from? Bleh. If I keep thinking this, I'm gonna break my brain. ><

Black Mage is missing the obvious answer...
He's somehow ended up in Anarcho-Communist Heaven, red and black isn't necessarily evil. |

See, the gods are still not done. The other warriors need to appear too. Also what with all the loose ends with all the other people who give some kind of relevance. We are only like half way done, not 3/4. I can't stress this enough.

I wonder if Fighter meets Swordopolis, Thief meets Raven, and Rm finally meet his god. I think it's about time RM's god show up. Furthermore, I think this arc might develop the gods' role in the plot, which is similar to what xravi posted.

A more rational explanation is that the red and black are due to this being a pocket dimension of specialized matter from which Ferraris are made. A portal to this dimension must have been created by Italian physicists around the turn of the century in Maranello, and the only material that draws the power of this matter is steel, hence the cars are a side effect of accumulating arcane power. As to why Darko is there, it's plain that he's been reading Steven King and wants to create a protrusion of his will into an automobile to take over OUR dimension. Why is BM here? Well, the colors of the explosion were orange and black, and since it left BM flying away at close to light speed, it red-shifted to the correct frequency to produce a gate. (A palette match with the pocket dimension) If he's unlucky, he'll be dimensionally transferred into the metal of a Fiat. All we know for sure now is that Ferraris and all cars with red flames on them possess evil.

I am gonna have to say that we are inside BM's mind right now and he was dreaming that whole thing....
Either that or BM is immortal since the Dark Gods keep reviving him since they need him... And w00t for episode #800 and the return of one of the best 8-bit theater characters! |

Well he can't go to hell, remember what happened last time, the dark gods are not gonna let him usurp them.
