The hollow nodded "I suppose you are right. No reason to wait any longer. Huro I think I will start things off." The hollow opened up a case that was near him. Talking aimlessly as he did. "Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of using my zanpaktou, there are just better things for my talents you see" from the case he pulls several knives. "These for example are much more suited to me." Then with a flick of his wrist he sends the blades flying, one for each of the intruders.

"Whatever you like," Aencieth said a grace shield forming in the path of the thrown blades. A slight frown appeared on his face at the shield's appearance. It was harder to pull that one together then he had expected.

"Strange...that must mean that the floor's doing something to spirit particles."

So long as the knives didn't have any special properties, the shield would stop them. But, if they were like the Sword wielding Arrancar's blades then he was ready to side step the one thrown at him.

Fuga pulled out his Seele Schneider hoping that his meager skills with close range fighting and his instincts for the flight paths of projectiles would allow him to block or divert the incoming blade. Of course he was also prepared to step aside as he deflected just in case. This was of course predicated on the failure of Aencieth's shield.

At the same time he tested his bow and found it nearly impossible to form. Something strange was going on with the spirit particles in here. Fuga was going to have to do something about that with the Seele if at all possible. Seeing as this place was made of solid spirit particles he should be able to at least temporarily increase the concentration by cutting things with the Seele. Luckily for him the Seele would also make it easier for him to absorb and control the released spirit particles. Hopefully that would be enough so he could mount at least a semi effective counter attack.

The knives struck the shield and bounced off curving up and over them, as the menos sent over another volley. It was same as the first, one blade per target. The hollow clenched his fist and retracted his arm. The first attack which bounced up and over the shield curved back in, towards the group

"Alright, this isn't going to work..." Aencieth muttered as he dropped the shield and threw himself out of the path of the knives. Landing on his hands, the boy flipped into a standing position, one that kept the knives and the two Arrancar in view. While it put him closer to one of the winged hollows lining the room, thankfully he was still out of its reach.

"Not the problem right now. I have to disable a couple of those knives." He thought as he trapped the one newly thrown at him in a bubble of a grace shield. From there, he quickly pulled it to him. After it entered the glow, the Arrancar wouldn't be able to control it.

Christian had been hurried into the chamber thanks to the assistance of one of the others in the group, and as he was most likely placed down he simply seemed to slump, eyes staring ahead at the wall. He was thinking deeply, and realizing that one of the singular biggest issues he was going to have was the speed difference.

Christian was fast...but he wasn't instant-movement fast. He'd have to rectify that, he felt. He blinked, exhaled slightly, and then stood up. "Well, that was a nice rest," Christian said, before looking at the others.
Who weren't forming their bows? And...the air here felt odd.

Christian smiled. It felt almost like...none of that spiritual stuff could work here, or work here well.

Christian smile widened.

He walked toward the knife-using Arrancar, slipping toward the rightside as a knife flew at him...and then he moved forward at a fast pace, one that was inhuman, one that he was doing without the aid of his special form. One that didn't rely on pure spirit particles.
One that relied on his muscles, power and abilities he had since before he came to Hueco Mondo, something which had been refined and increased while here.

Christian leapt, aiming to slam his heel into the left side of the Arrancar's head. He put every ounce of his inhuman strength into that kick, hoping that the distinct lack of offensive weaponry and special armor would have caused the Arrancar to lower it's defenses.

Errisa had little patience to play these dodging games with her opponent's knives, and with a steady sigh she knelt to the ground, touching it with one finger of her Shikai. As soon as she touched it, some sort of blue and white energy rippled through the ground, causing dozens upon dozens of pillars to fire out, encircling the blades midflight from every conceivable angle, grappling each of them long before they reached their designated targets and sucking them deep into the castle's structure -- holding them under ridiculous pressure to reaffirm their dismissal.

"Arrancars, I do hope you two have better than little parlor tricks to fight us." She stared coldly at the two, her gaze unfeeling, impersonal, and devoid of any emotion, righteous or subtle -- the apathetic, calculating gaze only offset by the massive, glowing white gauntlet and shield that stretched nearly as long as her whole body, pulsating its energy as if in excitement for the oncoming battle.

Fuga was continually impressed by this shinigami Captain and her abilities. When she was on her game she was really quite impressive. Whatever the hell had happened in that room below had really sucked; and it seemed to have followed them up the stairs.

That's when Fuga suddenly had a flash, "Hey Erirsa could a guy get a small favor. If its not to much trouble do you mind closing up that staircase back there. I'd rather not leave an open path to that pit at the bottom of those stairs if at all possible. I'm not sure if that'll stop the weirdness in here but its worth a shot. If it doesn't then I'm about useless. I have contingency plans but they're no were near what I could do full strength."

*Arthuros did his best to avoid anythign that seemed dangerous to him. He was silent, nearly still. His sword wasnt with him yet. Maybe not enough time had pass for a full recovery. Anyway, he wasnt being able to draw his Zanpaku-to yet, he couldnt get a grasp at hsi Sword energy, maybe something about tha earlier surge of power had made some difference. But he seemed pretty adamant about not letting anyone know about it.

As he stared both Arrankar, he did what he could to analyze them, understand his target. It was the least he could do, to hope to see something like a opening for a attack. They were using really simplistic attacks and that Bothered him enough.*
