No, just an announcement of Kroze's unquenchable thirst for shitty puns.
Anyway, I'm glad that Will Wright has finally picked a point at which to officially begin his game's lengthy cycle of delays and postponements which may or may not ultimately result in the release of an actual game. Side note: Why does Will Wright's page have an ad for Bowflex on it? What the fuck, EA can't spare some of the hojillions of dollars they've made off the Sims to cover Willie's hosting bills?

Okay, so now that Smash Bros is actually going to land, we've got another game to get plagued with delays and reschedules.
Only they can't include guest characters to pad the impact.

It has been said before that if you can run The Sims 2, you can (easily?) run Spore.
It has been in development for about 8 or 9 years, which includes the "idea" phase of every media. It has also been said that a playable version, which had already underwent some bugtesting/fixing and testing in general, was available in Q4 2007. I doubt there shall be much more delays. Also: EUROPE GETS IT FIRST! THAT'S RIGHT! HAH!

I was interested in Spore, once upon a time, but then it became overly cartoony and "kiddie" friendly and my interest vanished.
Perhaps a sequel will renew my interest.
