Other than the email being from a free email server and the form of address being bizarrely punctuated, this is the most legitimate-sounding scheme I've seen yet. Proceed with caution, if you do proceed.

The benefactor remaining anonymous casts doubt on whether this is really Seil's money though. Perhaps his real father left his mother at a young age because he didn't want to deal with a kid. He felt embarassed and ashamed so he put some money aside from you (he's a railroad tycoon) on your maturity but he didn't leave his name so as to not raise problems as he feels your mother's new husband was a better father for you. Clearly.

DFM, I have gotten some email schemes that look like they were put together by a third-grader who rides the short bus. By comparison, this looks pretty good.
