Now I'm 25, and a girl I've been seeing for over two years just broke it off with me to go be with another dude. Whatever. It happens. I still get pissy from time to time. I mean, it's a shitty situation. However, I'm older, wiser, and battle scarred now. Not to mention the lack of teen hormonal stupidity raging through my loins with the fire of a thousand suns.

I can also surmise you're an emo kid. So I'm going to guess that the relationship went something like this-- "I AM SAD!" "Hey, lets date" "I am happy, and you complete me, and now I shall languish the affections of my broken and shattered heart upon you so that you may make me whole again!" "OOOOoooookay... gonna go over here now" "NO! FOR SURELY I SHALL NEVER LOVE AGAIN!"

Yeah, really ridiculously shortened version of it, but seriously, that's how every emo kid I've ever known goes about their relationships. It's not a good idea.

Like Cati said--don't sabotage your relationships by making your life revolve around them. And for god sake be happy. Get help if you have mood swings or spend all your time depressed. A relationship can't fix your tortured soul.

You're gonna have to do that yourself.

ANNND all that said, I'm going to go ahead and close this, because, honestly, I don't see anything good coming from this.

If you need to talk PM someone or something. This kinda thing... not the best to have in public. Not when you're THAT exposed.

Our mods give good advice.
I mean there is a lot of coolness on this forum, probably why I've been here so long. What's one time that a mod has done something crazy or awesome ir both to you or on one of your threads?

Not to sound like one of those Fifthfiend fanboys, but seriously the modly humor never ceases to entertain.

And if this thread gets closed just for the sake of irony, I just want you to know that its not nearly as clever as you may think.

I think it mainly has to do with the fact that the mods tend to be older, and they are sort of required to make a comment that will not drive an emi-kid to suicide before they close their thread.

Honestly I don't think it's just mods who give good advice around here, as there are a lot of quite smart and helpful people. (Not all! Many of you are assholes I wouldn't trust to feed my fish. It is the incomparable mix of well-meaning decency and mentally stunted deviance which this forum engenders.) So I am gonna say in the interests of minimizing mod-asskissing, to broaden this topic to a time any person on this forum has been a help to you.

Also, moving this to general, as this topic does not seem nearly LOLCOCKS enough to qualify as an Off Topic thread.

On topic, Yeah this place does seem like a really great forum but to be honest I can't say I've been on any bad ones.

It was just that seeing Krylo actually help someone blew my freaking mind. Plus that was the most recent instance of modliness.

Sure any time a person on the forums has actually helped you with a problem you've had or given really insightful advice is cool.

I don't see what's so conditional about forumites giving advice. If I remember correctly, someone at some point said I helped people "like no one's business." Moogs usually throws in his two cents, too.

Anyway, I'd like to thank the people from the sketches thread. If it wasn't for their helpful advice on improvement, then I'd still suck at drawing. Also, more specifically, I'd like to thank Skweeb for telling me how to shade and highlight pictures using brush tools. Very nifty method and have been using it ever since.

Might seem trivial, but Fifth for changing my name. Best decision of me life. >>
