Bleach : Up to the Japanese Manga (Major Spoilers, of course)
So, this should be the proper topic in case you're following the current Bleach manga all the way up to the japanese releases ( Chapter 314 )
I got a small urge to discuss bleach around, since i started following the manga (after i had caught up with the current anime...) i'll stop doing it because i learned that i've spoiled myself on too much good stuff and now that the manga is going for a peek of climax i dont want to get spoiled before the anime. So, really, one of the things in liking about this manga is that, first: The story MOVES foward each chapter. Unlike naruto where we get several sub-plot draggin in snail-pace over several mini-archs of a few chapters. Secondly: I cannot imply just how much i love the villains in Bleach. Each has a multi-layered personality, reasons and above all: Brains. Characters actually think. Teir actions make sense and match up their personalities. Up to Grimmjow actually displaying the reasons why he obeys Aizen, to him actually repaying Inoue for healing him up (even if only to use her to have a rematch with ichigo later on) and the high-end plot twists become remarkable now, as Aizen tries to out-smart pretty much every good guy (again) and not only you found out (on 314) that he probably got screw, but it's a twist that actually calls up to a "FUCK YEAH!" ending there... Now, all the main good guys are "trapped" and out of the spotlight, and the B-Team is at full ready to battle. Together with all those characters that we want to see in battle and have not jumped in yet. All in all, Bleach had a "warm" passing from a major arch to another, and a bit of fear with some "DBZ" momments there... but now we're jumping in for a "WAR" climax that just made me fall in love with the thing all over again Last edited by Bells; 03-14-2008 at 06:46 PM. |

I've said it before, just because Aizen says its his plan, doesn't mean its actually his plan. Guy has good tactics and uses misdirection whenever possible. Heck by the looks of it, most of the Espada were merely meant as speed-bumps, which makes sense since most of them weren't on par with a captain.
But I must call boo on two things. Since they were there I was hoping we would finally see squad 11's vice-captian, or squad 4's captain fight. I feel let down

I'm just hoping we in addition to seeing Urahara, Yoruichi, the dads and the Vizards fighting the big guys. We see Tatsuki, those two guys and the Karakura Superheroes kick some small fries' asses(or in the case of Don Kanonji and Kon, pull Hercules and runaway). Them getting spiritual powers like Chad and Orihime would be a nice touch.

Right now we have Just Aizen, Kaname and Gin going to Earth to Obliterate Karakura Town...
Against them we have: All captains and Vice-captains aside from those on Hueco Mundo The Vaizard Squad Ichigo's and Ishida's Dads Yoruichi and Urahara & Crew That amounts to something like 3 top bad guys up against almost 20 High level good guys. This is going to be GOOD. Plus the whole "we said we need Inoue when we actually didnt need her" was great... we thought Aizen needed her to produce more powerfull Arrancar, but he dosent... Also, he took her away only to say that they coudl take her if they wanted (she is probably with stark now) so there are still questions in the air... |

If Aizen's big plan is to get Hollow powers, and we have yet to see his Bankai yet, how freaking powerful is he?

Im really liking it right now. One thing I really dont want to see happen though, is Ichigo becoming more powerful then Genryusai. Hes the oldest and most powerful Shinigami, some teenager that just became one should not be stronger then him. Im also hopin to see Urahara bust out his bankai, as well as Koryaku and Ukitake, casue those guys own.

first squad captain's power is insane. The two strongest captains besides him were gonna go at it 2 on 1, and it was said they would be lucky to survive. Thats the thing about this series, truthfully what we have seen so far is nowhere near what the upper levels actually fight at. Kisuke, the vaizards, Aizen, any time we have seen them fight they utterly destroy their opponet and they all have yet to go all out in a fight.

i tell you a thing...
i liek Zaraki Kenpachi, i really do Expect when the guy is fighting. I mean, God damn, i understand, he is a mean killing machine and all... i love it when he actually starts to speak and shows a "Captain" side of himself, as well as a guy who loves fighting but knows how to see the big picture. But his battles are just "OH C'MON!!". his last battle with Noitora was great though, because Zaraki shows what a "Top" power of captains power should look like, and even there it only mad ehim a fair match to the 5th spada. Which means that Someone like Ulquiorra could beat Zaraki... But i just keep on waiting for him to drop dead and Ikkaku to take his place... |

If i got the tips right they are all Adjuchas up to Ulquiorra... Aizen want to "recruit" the vasto lord of the Hueco mundo to his army, and he already replaced a large rank of Espadas wit the the Privaron. Also, there is some shaddy info about it, but is belived that an Vasto Lorde would have no mask at all, looking human. And they all got some sort of mask on them...
Even though, right now, Aizen probably is going to replace his lost ranks of the Espada ( Grimmjow and noitora arent confirmed dead, but even if Grimmjow is alive he might be kicked out) As that i still belive Wonderweiss is a Vasto Lorde |
