Here we go: RTSs on the Wii.
Open Source Disgaea/OtherKickAssNipponIchiGame on the PC. Legend of Kirby: Link to the Stars Hell, Katamari Kirby would be a damn fine Nintendo-themed roll-up game. Moar ideas! |

Anything remotely creative, new, or different?
More specifically...how about an RTS where you have to play as one of the foot soldiers, instead of as an invisible flying god-being? The only thing I know of like this was a mod for the original Unreal Tournament game, and it was pretty incomplete. Supreme Commander did half of this but made the player even more omnipotent than usual, and anyway that game was awful. I think it might be fun to finally have an RTS that's sorta believable. |

How's aboot a survival game, that's really like a survival game?
At the top of my head, a game where there are zombies (the base). The zombies hide and wait, they run at jogging speeds, they're a deadly force, and there's a lot of them. Then you, as a player, start out with practically nothing, 'cept maybe your shoe. There's an objective (maybe a military base) but it's quickly forgotten as you cling to life from the skin on your teeth to find enough food, water, and reliable weaponry. I want a game where the weapons break down realistically and stuff; like, you can't run into zombies with a car. I mean, cars aren't meant to hit anything, and some people would be surprised at how fragile the car frame is. I'm ranting, but basically I want a very realistic survival game. Heck, it doesn't even have to be zombies; make me a hobo in New York or something. |

A Fps game that rewards you (in points) for killing people in unusual or diffrent ways with fully destructible environments
A game where your life changes due to the gun you have like...your suit uses energy that can only be powered by your kinetic movement when you hold something like the sniper rifle the auto gyros feed off of the energy of your suit making your shields weaker but if you hold the pistol which needs no power then your shields will be at a higher level then... also radio signal style telecommunication so that a sniper that is close enough to scan your frequency will be able to listen in on all those that are on said frequency Large maps! like liberty city size with 120 people also a type of "experience" with guns AKA in multiplayer if a player picks up a sniper rifle and fires it he will fall over and reloads slower then a player that chose the sniper "class" Also falling over! but not dieing! like your launched up with a grenade and land but you don't die! maybe you can fake death or something also rap this up in one package and i will absolutely die by fun

Besides my usual "City of Heroes/Villains for the consoles with offline mode"...
A free-roaming survival horror game in the vein of 28 Days Later or Omega Man. You are the last (or are you?) human left in the city/county/province/whatever. You roam around the city, trying to... well, survive, and possibly even find the source of the monsters or whatever. Now here's what keeps it from being just GTA: Racoon City... You starve without food. Your car will run out of gas. Your flashlights run out of batteries. And of course, you'll need new buckshot now and again. You need to eventually make a run for supplies. The problem is, once you exhaust the supplies of one area, you'll have to find another place to get them from. With your need to find new stuff raises another question: Will you remain in your apartment, or relocate to somewhere closer to that Kwik-E-Mart across town? Your place has security and other measures to ensure you'll sleep safely, but squatting in another building, even for one night, means you have a chance of being attacked (and brought to a combat mode where you have to beat back the zombie who found you on the couch). Now, keeping to the freeroaming horror idea AND the 'vigilantes' idea. Basically, you control a team of monster hunters. Your controlling them is like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance or The Warriors: You lead the group and give orders to the followers. The freeroaming part comes in like the Spider-Man movie game: You can either go right into a known monster hideout, or patrol the streets waiting for a sign of an attack. Also, in a "This sounds stupid, but if someone makes it and it somehow works, it would be awesome" is something that came to me in a dream: A combination of You Don't Know Jack, X-Men Legends, Guilty Gear XX, and Guitar Hero.

With the freeroaming Zombie idea, I think it would be cool to do a sort of simulation-esque game about surviving a zombie apocolypse. There's not really a goal in mind other than to survive until help comes (or something similar). You would have to alter your house(or wherever you are) to help protect you, and use what you could to survive.
I guess it's not really original, but I'd like to see an actual simulation game like Pandemic 2, with a really minute look at the different factors and such of the game, and where different strategies would work (for example, if a dock closes, you can lay low for awhile until they think your disease is dead, and reopen). And I always thought an MMO where people actually had to act out some sort of role instead of "I am newbie fighter, lvl plz" or "I am awesome wizard, I will kill you" would be cool. Kind of like 3-D roleplaying with stats, I guess. I have no idea how it would be done, or how well it would work, but the players would have just as much of a role in the story of the world as the game designers have.

What Id like to see, is a beat em up that has a combat system that works equally as well agains groups, and single enemies. Dynasty Warrions has decent enough combat for taking on hordes of guys, but when its down to a one on one duel, its feels akward. I really dont know why no-one has done this, but maybe make it setup so when fighting one on one, it switches to a 3D fighter, ala Tekken or Soul Calibur? It doesn need to be super super deep either, just not feel akward when you arent slashing through millions of dudes.

Anyway, I want games where the entire plot evolves based on my actions. I don't just want different endings, or NPCs to act a bit differently toward me; I want to actually affect how the game unfolds. Imagine if you could actually kill Rufus when you first meet him in FFVII; that's the kind of thing I want. And throughout all of it, there should be a very present, developing plot. Not something that's just a few text boxes in the background that makes it easy for the developers to adapt it to your actions, but the kind of thing you see in a console RPG. Basically, I want to feel like I actually have an impact on the world. There are actually some games moving toward this, so that makes me happy.

How about a music fighting game? Different fighting styles based on the speed of the music playing, you put the combos in and the game unleashes them to the rhythm.

An rpg that doesn't have an emo, nor a badass for a hero. Instead, let's have an anti-hero, someone who doesn't care about the world and only saves it out of profit.
