Default Cloud Takes On The World

Okay, here, since I made the idea(in the "Cloud vs Black Mag" thread), I'll make the thread: Cloud takes on whoever from whatever Final Fantasy. Anyway, rules are simple: 1. Cloud and his opponent are restricted to their respective game engines. 2. Cloud must fight a Final Fantasy PC, so 8BT sprite comic PCs are denied(since, in the real Final Fantasy, the Black Mage has no "Hadoken") as are NPCs, bosses, etc. 3. Cloud can not fight Auron because that horse is dead, so it won't be whipped anymore. 4. Please explain why you think Cloud can(not) beat the person he's matched against.

My take on this is anyone can beat Cloud, except for the following: Squall(FF8), Tidus(FF10), Relm(FF6), the twins(FF4). And here's why I believe Cloud can beat them.
Squall and Tidus: They have emotional problems. Cloud would give 'em a good whack, and they'd break down on the spot. Then, while they're "dealing" with their "problems," Cloud would pull out the Knights of the Round on them.
Noting that Squall could get the best of Cloud using his Lionheart Limit Break, Cloud would have to enter the battle with low HP for his Limit Break to be readily available. However, Squall's time guage rarely starts at full, or near full(in my game, anyway). So, he would just soften himself up for Cloud. And(yes, I'm pulling one of the Auron arguements), Cloud would have Final Attack - Phoenix Equipped on him. Final Attack would have five stars, allowing Cloud a 100% chance of doing his Final Attack(each star adds +20% to the chance of pulling it off), and Phoenix would have five stars so Cloud could summon it a maximum of five times. And, since Phoenix has five stars, another Phoenix materia would have been produced.0 He would also have that seperate Phonix materia junctioned to 4x Mag. Damage(if I remember that correctly) which would revive him and deal 4x the damage to Squall, killing Squall.
As for Tidus, I'll get to him later today. My time's short right now.

Relm and the twins: Come on, they're just little kids. It's wrong of Cloud to even fight them to begin with, but they can't defend themselves.

And, whoever casted their vote for Paine, mad props to you.

Aha, I know people who could beat him. The ladies out of FFX-2. They just show him where they keep they stuff (Anyone who has played the game will know what I mean) He'll be like "Heh" and they just cut/slash/shoot him into a load of bits.

Wouldn't that alone let Cloud beat anyone from FF1-6, 8, 9? I don't see how Squall from FFVIII dies to that, but Locke from FFVI or Fighter from FF would survive it.

Default FFCC party vs Cloud

okay i dont care what u say but my complete party from FFCC could whoop anyones ass, even clouds. see i have my selkie run around trying to distract cloud, i have my clavat act as the meat sheild for my yuke and lilty (my main attackers) Thell (my yuke) busts firaga blizzaga thundaga holy and gravity on cloud substantially damaging him, but by now hes probably developed a resistence to THAT sort of magic. so now i tell thell to cast slow on cloud and have barak (my lilty, and a very strong lilty if i do say so myself) come in and beat the living hell out of cloud till either he dies or runs screaming like a little girl, and before u argue remember that my guys are based in a 3d environment, meaning that my guys could could run around to his back and kick his ass and he wouldnt be able to do anything about it

Ok, fine.

Your group does all that, then Cloud dies. He comes back with Pheonix, kills or greatly injuries your team. Your team either goes back and heals, or attacks Cloud again. If they heal, Cloud cast Knights of the Round (With Materia combos so it does it several times) and your team dies. Or multiple Ultimas. If they attack, Cloud dies then comes back and hurts them even more. Cloud wins in the end.

Edit - Don't double post. That's what edit is for.

Run = Loss. And there are no bomb shelters (I would assume). An arena might help for this, but it's almost always a flat planes where the battles take place.

And so what if you have phoenix downs? Most of Clouds attacks are group targeting, all powerful multiple cast magics. Most likely all of your group would die at once.
