Ya know who I like? The Psychedelic Furs. It just sorta sucks that Rock Band's DLC-releasers seem set on making it so people think they wrote the theme tune to an 80's movie.

I want someone to write a modern day American Psycho where 2000-Bateman recites Pitchfork album reviews before garroting a victim. It seems...too easy?

DEAR Dance Music: I apologize for sincerely lacking in pursuing you (RE: 2008), but you have to admit you were sort of my entire second half of 2007. I'm getting Hercules and Love Affair as I type, I'll see where I end up this time.

Seems like everyone's going absolutely crazy over The Flaming Lips. I really can't get the appeal despite several YouTube listenings. Maybe I'm not rock-y enough.

Most of the music I listen to as of late is either from video games or Japanese. Or both. There are a few exceptions, but when you are the only person who can truly appreciate Kusou Rumba or Thunder Tornado, it kinda sucks.

I've recently began to enjoy Reliant K again, As well as some Thousand Foot Krutch.

Then again I like Linkin Park and Fort Minor so who knows my taste is all over the scale.

Ah yes, I know of this. As a singer myself, I know that every band I've been in has been a bunch of sellouts, especially after my joining. Clearly, there is an undeniable correlation involved.

They are a band who has been trying to get going for quite a while now. They have Meshuggah-ish riffs (Read: Kind of copying the style), but have melodic vocals with some mid-pitch screams thrown in. Their first singer was Jake Veredika who left the band because he just wasn't really down with it anymore and joined Divine Heresy as the vocalist. I don't think he's in that band anymore. The next singer was Casey Sabol, who was great and had an amazing melodic voice as well as a good scream, but I didn't like that he breathed wrong in the recordings and he left to pursue a career in pop song writing.

The newest singer is Chris Barretto who is the vocalist was Lamps Burning and the son of some musician dude. I have been waiting to see this band come together to make an album for half a year now and I'm glad they got a singer. they say they're going to get things going by spring 2009 but i doubt it. =p

They're also a bunch of nerds, apparently.

I actually think they still plan on releasing their instrumental album that they put together in the absence of a singer. Plus their guitarist does instrumental stuff. Although he's trying to make a "mobile" band in that he would just get band members in different places in the U.S. and have them play shows with him when he's there.
