Yes. Yes it does. Not only does it change the explanation of her different appearances being different hair cuts and hair dye from fannon to cannon, but she looks smoking hot and I'm drunk enough to say that. I mean, god damn Nintendo, stop making me like your characters so much.

Also because from a military perspective it makes a lot more sense than some goddamn ponytail. Granted, she wears a suit so it's not a problem but still. Hot and not in a stripperiffic sense either.

I've always liked short hair and it fits Samus well, although I really have to wonder what's with that one chick at the end. Looks like a Samus clone, which could be an interesting plot.

It's how I read it too. I think the links were his way of clarifying. Better if sources are used than not, and all.
